About African children
An anthropologist suggested a game to the children of a tribe in South Africa.
He placed a basket full of sweet fruits near a tree and told the children that the first person to run in a circle would win all the fruits.
When I told them to run, all the children came together holding hands...
Then they all sat together and ate the fruit.
the anthropologist asked them.
"Why are you holding hands like this and running together..?
Running alone, someone could have won."
Then they said..
"Ubuntu.."
"How can any of us be happy if everyone else is sad...?"
In the Xhosa culture of South Africa, "Ubuntu" means,
"I am because of us"
"I'm for us." to go..
