Saxon Village 🏚️

On Streymoy Island, the largest island in Denmark's Faroe Islands, the village of Saksun, located on a cliff in the northern corner, is a small isolated village of about 14 people. Surrounded by several beautiful waterfalls cascading down from the hilltops and lush green meadows, at the bottom is a small lagoon called Pollurin. Apart from a few thatched houses, there is also an old church built in 1858 and a sheep farm with a museumm.
