A Florida principal has been forced to resign after a parent complained that students were being exposed to pornography. Foreign media reports that this question arose after showing Michelangelo's David statue to the students during the Renaissance art lesson.


The statue of David is a famous statue in the West as well as in the East region. But one parent complained the material contained pornography, while two others said it was essential to know the age of the students in the class before teaching it.

Mrs. Hope Carrasquilla is reported to have been the principal of the Tallahassee school for less than a year. After this incident, on Thursday, the governor of Florida has taken steps to implement a law that prohibits the teaching of sex education and gender roles in public schools.
