Women of the Mursi tribe in the Omo Valley region of Ethiopia 🇪🇹
Mursi women are identified by the lip plate and clay plate in their ears. To make a hole when approaching an adult, cut a hole under the lower lip of the body, making a loop big enough for a small jar. In Mursi culture, the larger the lip plate, the more likely the woman is to marry. Africans were proud of this culture which still exists in these 21 cities.
